Description

This brick building was commissioned by M C Griffith, and designed by Parr & Fee. Parr & Fee was an architectural partnership designed many of the buildings on Granville Street between the 1899 and 1912. It was one of three hotels built in the same block, including the Albany Rooms and Princess Rooms. Today these two hotels offer single occupancy rooms, while the Glenaird (c1908?) became the Global Village Backpackers Hotel (now the Samesun Backpackers Lodge).
