Description

Originally addressed 1106 W 15th Avenue, the McArthur residence was a two-and-a-half storey with a full basement, Edwardian residence distinguished by its profile and front-gabled roof with hipped skirt.

Built in 1910 by Duncan McArthur, the house is valued for its connection with the pre-World War I growth in the area. McArthur lived in the house from 1911-1924.

The house was relocated, upgraded, and revitalized in 2018, and the address was revised to 1108-1110 West 15th Avenue. A 3-bedroom contemporary style infill building was built next to the original building. It features a peaked roof that mirrors the original house
