1114 Comox St

The builder of this house and its neighbour, 1110 Comox, is unknown. The houses share similar flamboyant features with the striking circle/triangle design above the deep porch and the possession of a turret, (although 1114’s is more typically rounded).

Other builders who constructed more than one house on the block often made homes which had the same floor plan, or were mirrors of one another; this cookie cutter approach is not true of 1114 and its brother, although they share many similar features.

This house is painted in VHF True Colours: Body – Comox Green, Trim – Edwardian Cream, Watertable – Comox Green, Sash – Gloss Black, Deck and Stairs – Edwardian Porch Grey.
