Description

As the CPR released their land near their tracks along False Creek, a burst of construction followed, with many companies building warehouses in the area.

This four-storey brick factory and warehouse was designed by architect Thomas Hooper and built by McDonald & Wilson in 1912.

The Otis-Fensom Elevator Company, manufacturers of electric, steam and hydraulic elevators, operated out of this building until the early 1940’s.

It is now used as an office building and features 20-foot high ceilings and exposed brick and beam construction.
