Description

Built in 1894-1895, the house features a recessed entry, wrap-around porch, massing, decorative shingles and multi-paned windows. It was raised in 1913.

Francis Bowser was a shipping agent who was later instrumental in the development of Kerrisdale. He served as Reeve of Point Grey from 1910-1911 and his brother William later became Attorney-General and Premier of British Columbia.

This house is painted in VHF True Colours: Body – Pendrell Red, Trim and Watertable – Pendrell Verdigris, Sash – Gloss Black, Deck and Stairs – Edwardian Porch Grey
