Description
Designed by architect Ross A. Lort, this apartment building was constructed in 1930-31 for Hugh A. Warner. It is a good example of Moderne design with ornamental cast panels around the windows and a pleasant floral motif frieze over the main entry. Such low-rise apartment buildings were found commonly during post-1910, as they replaced many large homes built in the first decade of 20th century. Wooden sash and leaded glass detailing replaced aluminum windows in 1993 preserving the original design.
