Description
Built in 1910 and occupied in 1913 by Charles Cowan, the house at 1356 West 13th Avenue is a rare survivor of the area’s early development. Constructed in the Craftsmen style of architecture, as evidenced in the asymmetrical massing, simple box-like form and wide overhanging eaves, the building has three prominent front gables.
