Description
This classical revival house was built in 1914 and is more typically found in the eastern US. It mixes Greek Ionic capitals, Roman semicircular pediments and a ‘Palladian’ window in the pediment. The mixture of sources and the silhouette-breaking dormer show an indifference to accepted rules of composition.
