Description

Built in 1910-1911, the house at 1550 East 13th Avenue represents a good example of the larger type homes found in early Vancouver’s Grandview-Woodlands neighbourhood. David Ross, a plumber, had the house built by Hopper & Ruffell. Ross lived at the house from 1910-1917.

Designed in the Edwardian style, the house has elaborately decorated wood detailing and trim including patterned shingles and decorative barge boards. A second storey open porch is located above the main entrance. The front of the house features a verandah.
