Description

This modest three storey home was built circa 1912 and is a good example of vernacular wood frame construction. Notable stylistic elements include clapboard siding, wood sash windows, a square columned verrandah and overhanging eaves with decorative brackets.

This heritage house was expanded by the developer in 1997 keeping the architectural magnificence of the era. The rehabilitation of the existing house was undertaken by architect Edward LeFlufy and involved structural restoration, a significant component of which was the senstive restoration of the verandah to its original condition.
