1609 Nelson St

This house was built about 1901. It is in a cluster of other houses at 1605 Nelson and 985, 987 Cardero that were built around the same time and in the same style.

Architectural features for these houses include: a front facing central dormer, a recessed second floor porch, and a main floor recessed into façade.

1912 city directories show that its occupant was Sanford Davis, Assistant Manager of the BC Life Assurance Company.
