Description
Built in 1910 by H.D. Crawford, and designed by architect W.F. Gardiner, this is a commercial and residential building at the center of what is locally known as “The Drive” in the Grandview-Woodlands area.
Crawford, a prominent architect at the time, lived in the building in 1910 when Commercial Drive was known as Park Drive. By 1911, the building began to house several commercial establishments such as Winchcombe & Fisher fruits, and Grand View Meat Market, as well as apartments.
