It consists of two storefront 1714-1716 Commercial Drive which have always been connected, with apartments above at 1718 Commercial Drive.
After the Grand opening of the Thomas Appliances store at 1728 Commercial Drive of 4 July 1964, a fire broke out. The fire “all but destroyed” the Manitoba’s warehouse (owners since at least 1912).
