Description
Along with 1829, 1841 and 1847 Stephens, 1835 Stephens Street was built by D.A. Acorn. It first appears in directories in 1912, as vacant. The first listed resident is Dale A. Davis, a clerk, in 1913. Dale remained there until 1915. After Dale, the house changed residents frequently. Some of the residents included a chief claims officer for Workmens Compensation Board, Harry Langley of Harry Langley and Company Real Estate and Insurance agents, salesmen, travellers, and a watchman for Vancouver Harbour Commissioners.
