Description
This heritage building was built in 1911 by the Beard Home Building Company, which was headed by William Beard (1878 – 1947).
It is a good example of Edwardian, craftsman style housing built during the Edwardian building boom and is one of the earliest houses built in the neighbourhood.
Many original features survive including side-gabled roof with open soffits and rafter tails, wooden pointed bargeboards, and shed roof dormers on the north and south sides.
