Description
The building at 1955 Wylie Street commonly known as Maynard’s was constructed in 1919 and used as a repair shop and warehouse serving the industrial uses in the area.
The building is a good example of an Edwardian brick industrial warehouse and is one of only a few remaining heritage buildings on the former industrial lands. It is now used as commercial at grade and residential above.
The alternate address for Maynard’s Building is 419-429 West 2nd Avenue.
