Description
Built in 1910, this two-storey house has a bay window and, unlike other houses on its block, no porch. The second storey is decorated with fish scale shingles, rafters, and simple half-timbering. In 1915, Arthur B. Mott, a shipper for Wallace Parsons & Farmer Co. the resident of this house.
Ferndale Street was previously a part of Keefer Street until it was renamed in 1929. Keefer Street was named after George Alexander Keefer who worked as a surveyor for the Canadian Pacific Railway before opening a private engineering business.
