2030 Ferndale St

Built in 1910, this house features a closed full porch containing a bay window. Half-timbering covers the second storey. In 1919, Ivan J. Garrod (a clerk) lived in the house.

Ferndale Street was previously a part of Keefer Street until it was renamed in 1929. Keefer Street was named after George Alexander Keefer who worked as a surveyor for the Canadian Pacific Railway before opening a private engineering business.
