Description

The corner Vancouver Craftsman at 2048 Stephens St and W 5th Avenue was built in 1911 by owner/builder D. Chesman and architect CH Coleman for a one and a half storey frame dwelling house, valued at $2500, with a garage permit at $175 issued in 1920. Its first occupants are listed as Edward B Ryanm, assistant sales manager at McLellan McFeely &Co.
