Description

Built around 1931-1932, the Carlsen House first appears in city directories in 1933, with Alfred and Hanna Carlsen (for whom the house is named) listed as the first residents. Arthur (an engineer) and Hanna initially lived in the home with Esther (an operator for Am Can), and Hardy (an apprentice). Arthur and Hanna Carlsen’s lived at the house until at least 1955. The current photo shows the house under renovations in September 2018. As of March 2019, the house is still under renovation.
