Description

2245 West 5th Avenue was built around 1912 by J & J Miller. The house first appears on city directories in 1914, with William H. Byers listed as the resident. Byers was a bookkeeper for People Drug Company. Byers lived in the house in 1914 and 1915.

In 1917, Jesseman Norman is listed at the address. The same year, Jess[i]man received a permit for repairs on the house.

Other occupants include a farmer, a branch manager for the Royal Bank of Canada, a driver, and an auctioneer.
