Building permits for this Vancouver Craftsman home were issued in 1912 to Vancouver Homebuilders Ltd. It first appears in city directories in 1913. The first resident is listed as John Hayton, an employee with Vancouver Gas Co.
Hayton is listed as in active service in 1917/18, then returns to his job at Vancouver Gas Co. He married Jane E., and continued living at this address until at least 1954.
