Description

This two and a half storey wood frame house located in Mount Pleasant has architectural and historical significance.
Built in 1909-1910 by contractor/carpenter Stephen Percy, it is a good example of a transitional Victorian-Edwardian house with an imposing wrap-around turret at the corner. It is one of the earliest surviving buildings of the neighbourhood.

Stephen Percy appears to have been the sole resident of the house from 1910-1917, and the house bears his name.

The Percy House received an Interpretive Plaque in 2004.
