Description

This church, originally named All Saints Church, was built in 1905. The church was located at Victoria and Pandora. In 1926, it was cut in two sections and moved to its current location. In the 1950s, a lower hall was added.

The style of the church is vernacular. It has a steep pitched gabled roof with overhanging eaves. The original church had wood clapboard siding on the upper portion and cedar shingles on the lower portion. It is now stuccoed. Side and lower windows are wood sash. The original windows were multiple paned. There are two large English style stained glass windows.

The church was also known for its paintings of Stations of the Cross in a modern urban setting by Chris Woods. In 2014, these were relocated to St. Thomas Church in East Vancouver.

In February 2014, St. David’s parish closed due to lack of membership. As of 2015, the future of the church is unknown.
