2478 Oxford St

According to the Heritage Database, a permit was issued to owner G. Queenville in 1921 for a new dwelling and garage at 2478 Oxford Street. City of Vancouver’s Heritage Inventory describes the home as a “shingled cottage with hip roof and gable, decorative brackets and porch consoles, leaded glass with stained glass fleur-de-lis”. A few months later in 1921, a permit was issued to owner G. Queenville for a new dwelling at 2488 Oxford Street next door. Both 2478 and 2488 Oxford Street are on the Heritage Register.
