Description

The former Gospel Meeting Hall was constructed in 1928. City records state that the builders were C. Cook and Sons and the original owner was S.H. McDowell. In recent years, the building was converted into residential housing.

The building is an intact example of small local scale church architecture. The shingle sided building is a simple, gabled rectangle with regular wood window pattern. The most interesting feature of the building is the unusual arch on the porch.
