Description

Constructed in 1910 by Dougall A. Acorn, the building is valued primarily for its architectural features. The building is a good example of ‘Arts and Crafts’ residential architecture including extensive detailing such as patterned shingling, and elements such as brackets and trims. The predominant feature of the house is its large, simple peaked roof and the ‘full-length’ dormer. Other notable features include the front balcony and generous front porch.
