2535 W 3rd Ave

2535 West 3rd Avenue was built in 1911 by M. McQuarrie. The 1911 building permit lists McQuarrie as the owner, architect, and builder, whereas the 1912 permit for the addition of a frame garage lists Wm. Neve as the owner, architect and builder of the garage.

In 1911, Wm. Neve’s address is listed as 1717 West 14th Avenue, and in 1912 he is listed as living at 2436 East 8th Avenue.

The house has retained its original stain glass windows, crown mouldings, and skylights. It appears to have been stratified into a fourplex.
