Description

Built in 1922, this one and a half storey wood frame house is a fine example of Craftsman design. The house features a unique trellis-like front porch roof, diamond pane stained glass windows and an upper recessed porch with an arched opening. The first owner was Angus McLeod, a fireman who in 1928 became a captain on the City’s first fireboat, the J.H. Carlyle, and who retired as district fire chief in 1947.
