Description
This house was built in 1911 by architect and builder James Bruce Arthur. It’s a fine example of the Craftsman style with its stone foundation, wood frame construction and front porch with bay over. The front gable roof has half timbering, while the side bay has a cross roof. The house has stained glass as well as window canopies and boxes. In 1937, under the ownership of Harry Buckley, the building was turned into a rooming house. Other alterations include a side entrance and one storey added to the rear.
