Description

Built in 1911 by N.A. Leech, the brick and stone school is a modest example of the Beaux-Arts Eclectic style. There are minor neoclassical details in the entranceway, which is set off by quoining and contrasting brick facing. Nightingale School has been identified as high risk and listed as a future priority on the provincial seismic mitigation plan. Please check out the archival photographs in the Gallery section of this page.
