Description
Built in 1941, this house is a small English Builder Cottage with a central turret, parabolic window and rolled eaves. It first appears in city directories in 1942, with the first listed resident being James Morley, a painter. James and his wife Gladys remained at the house until at least 1955. They eventually moved to White Rock.
The house was designated under the “C” significance category of the Vancouver Heritage Register in 1995. In 2003, the house was painted in a colour scheme authentic to its style and era, with assistance from a 2003 True Colours grant.
