Description
316 Union Street is one of the earliest buildings erected in Vancouver’s oldest neighbourhood. Built in the 1890s, this two-storey single dwelling is part of a two classic frame housing cluster – 312 (original house burned down in 2006) and 316 Union Street. Its architectural characteristics include drop siding and turned gingerbread in the second storey gable. Though alternations have been recorded, the building remains an intact housing example of the early settlement in the area.
