Along with three other two-storey houses, 3248 W 2nd Avenue was built in 1911 by Bentley & Wear. The permit gives the addresses as 3236-3248, suggesting that 3242 was likely one of the four houses build from this permit. 3248 West 2nd Avenue has its top 2/3 completely rebuilt in 2000. It maintains its original leaded stained-glass windows.
