The Jones Block is a three storey plus lower level masonry commercial building constructed in 1890. The building was constructed as an office building to serve the needs of the nearby warehouses in the Water Street area. The building was designed by architect Noble Stonestreet Hoffar, (1843-1907), one of Vancouver’s most prolific early architects
