Description

This house was built in 1910 and first listed in 1914. Builder and owner Samuel Swann and his family resided in the home until at least 1955. The family included: Samuel, a salesman for Swift Cun Co. until he retired; Marie Louise and Marguerite who were both retired; Dorothy, who worked at Buckerfields; John P Swann, a gardener, and his wife Elsie; John R Swann, a bolter for West Coast Shipbuilders.

House Description: Craftsman Bungalow – House was originally all shiplap cladding and is now is a mix of shingle and shiplap cladding. The house features a centre front entrance and staircase, gabled roof, four pier dormer porch, and two symmetrical front leaded glass windows.
