This 1891 Queen Anne style house features exuberant wooden detailing on its front façade. The sunburst motif in the gable end was a common decorative motive in the Victorian era. In 1993, this house and 13 others in the neighbourhood received a porch restoration grant funded by the Samuel and Saidye Bronfman Foundation. The Strathcona Porch Project ran from 1993 to 1996 and received heritage awards rom the City of Vancouver and Heritage BC.
