Description

This English style cottage was built during World War I. Today it is part of the Service Yard for the Mounted Division of the Vancouver Police Department.

It was built with natural looking wood materials giving it a rustic appearance consistent with other structures in Stanley Park. Its design features vertical log surfaces, overhanging dormers, multiple-pane windows, overhanging eaves and a cedar shingled roof. It is an integral part of the landscape of Stanley Park’s Rose Garden

A historical lamp from the original Georgia street viaduct was donated and relocated near the entrance of the cottage.
