65 Water Street

The address 55 Water Street includes the secondary addresses of 53, 57 and 65 Water Street. 65 Water Street is part of the refurbished conversion of 55 Water St with an atrium addition (commercial space) and residential units.

Fluevog Shoes, a Vancouver company and a long-time Gastown local, has occupied this location since 2008. The company designs its world-renowned shoes in Vancouver, and the shoes are made and sold all over the world.

Architects Paul Merrick designed this all glass greenhouse type building, nestled between two long-standing Gastown buildings. The site was an empty lot for many years, and the design is a fine example of creative conversion, with new additions in modern form to complement the old.
