The house is an interesting intact version of the Ontario cottage style. The house has front verandah reminiscent of an eastern cottage. The porch detailing is original. The windows have diamond shape mullions. The dormer is a later addition. City records indicate that the property was first taxed in 1910, and the property appears on Goad’s Fire Insurance map of 1912. In 1923, owner George Paul, carpenter, did $200 repairs on the property.
