This Craftsman bungalow is one of few intact in the area. The house is shingled. It has an original door and a bay window. There are brackets, dentils and leaded glass. Interesting features include a peaked recess to the veranda and an unusual 2nd storey window.

There is a July 1914 building permit for a $1,600 value house. The owner was George C. Watson, a contractor, who lived nearby at 674 17th Avenue. The architect was M. McBrien, possibly Moses McBrien, a carpenter, who lived at 668 17th Avenue.

In 1915, the occupant was George Booth, cigar manufacturer, who had a business premises at 1738 4th Avenue.
