Description

This house is a very well-preserved example of the Craftsman Bungalow style. It is shingled, with leaded windows, brackets, and dentil coursing in the porch gable. There is a June 1914 building permit for a $3,500 house on this property. The owner and architect was Frank Phillips, watchmaker at Henry Birks and Sons. The builders were Pugsleys. This could refer to George Pugsley, contractor, who lived at 941 W. 22nd Ave.
