915 W 23rd Ave

This is a good example of a Craftsman house in good condition. The house is shingled. The gable is half timbered. It has an original beveled glass entrance, stained and leaded glass side windows. There are arched openings on porch. The porch railing has been altered.

A house may have existed on this site prior to 1912, as it appears on the 1912 Goad’s Fire Insurance Map. The 1913 city directory lists the occupant as John J. Ford, real estate agent.

There is a 1917 permit for repairs done by builder A.S. Killam. The owner’s name at that time was Green.
