Description

This wood frame, wood trim building was built in 1906 and known as the Barclay Grocery. In July 1912, builder/architect D.A. McLennan made a $450 frame addition to the building.

The building permit lists the owner in 1912 as M. McSween. He was probably the landlord, since 1912 city directories list the occupant as Fanny Dobbin, widow of George Dobbin.
